Job Description

Working closely with our conveyancing residential property solicitors you will assist in the day-to-day progression of files, office administration, management of diaries, liaising with clients

Day to day you will be involved in: -

  • Relationship building with third parties, proactively progressing matters
  • Managing first line client enquiries and questions
  • Arranging practical aspects relating to case work
  • Drafting and submissions of Land Registry Applications and Stamp Duty returns, alongside the file handler
  • Attending to clients’ administrative matters
  • Diary management
  • Liaising with Risk and Compliance on auditing
  • Preparing bills
  • Supporting solicitors in proactively managing aged debt
  • Updating external websites and portals
  • Ensuring all file closing procedures are conducted at the end of the transaction and liaising with archiving for file closure


Skills and Experience required:

  • Committed and able to work on your own initiative
  • Detail-orientated approach to your work and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Effective time management
  • Experience gained within a property department or similar environment
  • Proven experience of working with a case management system, e.g., Proclaim.
