Our company is seeking a reliable Delivery Associate to join our team. As a Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for delivering packages and other goods to customers in a safe, timely and efficient manner. You will be representing our company to our customers, therefore excellent customer service and communication skills are a must. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages and other goods from the delivery vehicle
• Plan the shortest and safest delivery route based on order information
• Deliver packages and goods to customers within the scheduled time frame
• Obtain signatures and complete other delivery paperwork as required
• Maintain delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and the management team
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and in good working order

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds
• Good time management and organization skills
• Ability to navigate and use GPS systems
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with city streets and traffic patterns
