Job Description


We are looking for a Marketing Copywriter to create compelling and effective copy for marketing materials. You will be responsible for working closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the company's brand and messaging, and using data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of your writing. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing copywriting, strong writing and editing skills, and a deep understanding of the company's target audience and goals.

We are looking for a Social Media Copywriter to interact with our customers and promote our products and services on social networks. Social Media Copywriter responsibilities include updating our social media pages, responding to followers and tracking user engagement. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent web content writing skills and experience advertising on multiple social networks. Ultimately, you will ensure we maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent with our marketing goals.


Responsibilities

  • Create compelling and effective copy for marketing materials, such as website content, emails, and social media posts
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the company's brand and messaging, and create copy that aligns with the brand
  • Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of writing, and make adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as product and sales, to create cohesive marketing materials
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing copywriting
  • Conduct market and customer research to understand the target audience and create relevant and engaging copy
  • Edit and proofread marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Measure and report on the success of marketing materials, using metrics such as website traffic, email opens, and conversions
  • Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the marketing copywriting process
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company
  • Provide training and support to team members on marketing copywriting best practices and tools
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the company's marketing copywriting process
  • Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
  • Select appealing images and videos to complement text
  • Update our social media pages with compelling company news
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. for events, open roles and product releases)
  • Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
  • Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner
  • Network with clients and industry professionals




Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing copywriting or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of writing samples
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Knowledge of the company's target audience and goals
  • Ability to conduct market and customer research to create relevant and engaging copy
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A desire to learn and grow in the marketing copywriting field
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role
  • Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with online paid advertising
  • Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BSc in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
