Part time / Customer Service Representative (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide support to our customers. In this role, you will handle customer service responses via phone and email across all of brands and platforms while performing administrative duties as needed for the Operations department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Handle customer service responses via email and phone along with Senior Customer Service Representative
• Provide prompt, accurate and courteous responses to customers
• Work closely with the customer service representatives at our call center, CDS Global, as a liaison with their team
• Work with the support team at our customer management company, Piano, to resolve problems as necessary
• Gain deep understanding of all our products, subscriptions, systems, and processes
• Work with marketing, technology, and editorial to improve processes to eliminate ongoing customer issues
• Perform administrative duties for the Operations department when needed
• Understanding of changes as they are happening, within the company
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
• 1-2 years related experience. Phone customer service experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with using Zendesk is a plus
• Comfortable using a computer, telephone with headset, printer, copy machine, scanner

Knowledge and Skills

• Phone customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communicator, verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time well and work independently
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with using Zendesk is a plus
• Comfortable using a computer, telephone with headset, printer, copy machine, scanner
