Job Description

We are looking for a focused data entry clerk to continuously update our company's databases. The data entry clerk will liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information.


The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.

Responsibilities


  • Participate in work-from-home surveys and studies based on written and oral instructions.
  • Join research focus groups and receive complete written studies.
  • Use provided products or services as required for the studies.
  • Gather invoices, statements, reports, and personal details from employees, other departments, and clients.
  • Review information to identify relevant data.
  • Correct errors and organize information efficiently.
  • Create accurate spreadsheets and update relevant databases.
  • Ensure data is backed up and maintain data confidentiality.
  • Inform relevant parties about any encountered errors.
  • Store hard copies of data in an organized manner.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.


Requirements


  • Have a working camera on your smartphone or a webcam on your computer.
  • Access to a reliable internet connection is essential.
  • Interest in being fully involved in the topics of the surveys/studies.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using data entry software, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of data confidentiality principles.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and remote communication platforms.
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork with remote teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, additional data entry certifications or training are a plus.
