Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to become a part of the Oak Rentals team! The property manager will manage a portfolio of west side Chicago apartment buildings in our Austin Zone Office.

List & show vacant properties and follow up with prospects

Schedule & move tenants in and out

Coordinate maintenance, groundskeeping & unit turns

Conduct subsidy & periodic unit inspections

Continually inspect apartment buildings & proactively resolve issues

Ensure timely payment of rent & adherence to policies

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years experience in property management, knowledge of section 8 is a plus

Must own a reliable, insured vehicle

Must have a strong work ethic, good communication skills and be well organized

Ability to build rapport with tenants

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understand and adhere to all local, state and federal housing guidelines
