CLIENT NAME: (high technology company designing and manufacturing complete laser based systems)
MUST HAVES:
Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline or similar qualification
Minimum five years, industrial experience in Sales / technical support
Previous experience selling capital equipment, instrumentation, and measurements system
Previous consultative sales experience
Ability to travel approximately 30 percent of the year and have current passport
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Manager will manage sales activities within North America including developing new and existing markets, providing up to date sales forecasts, managing existing customers, and achieving sales targets.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Be responsible for the sales of the laser-based systems in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Be responsible for maintaining and growing sales with existing customers.
Be the key driver in meeting the sales forecast.
Be responsible for effective sales management.
Achieve sales targets.
Manage sales effectively through effective contact management.
Be the key driver in the develop of existing / new market and distribution channels.
Provide sales support at conferences and Exhibitions.
Be responsible for the generation of accurate pipeline.
Provide timely accurate Sales / Forecast number.
This is a DIRECT HIRE position. The salary range is $80,000-$100,000 plus uncapped commission (approx. $40K at plan)
