Responsibilities:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Qualifications:

seeking a seasoned, experienced Senior IT Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience to perform software requirements analysis, system integration activities and design and to develop and test software and tools, including development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems or embedded products. Your proven leadership and expertise will aide in technical planning, verifying and validating other’s work and performing cost and risk analysis.

What you bring to the table:

A Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related technical field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; agile experience preferred

Experience with software requirements analysis, system integration activities, performs research, and designs

Experience with functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into software solutions utilizing whatever development lifecycle techniques or model will yield the optimal results (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

Participation as a Subject Matter Expert in internal review of software components and systems with internal and external stakeholders

Knowledgeable with configuration, update, and management of a virtualization environment/infrastructure (Nutanix experience preferred)

Experienced professional having a wide range of professional experience and possessing a very strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories.

Capable of working on complex problems of diverse scope or situations or data that requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors

Strong knowledge of the software development process as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
