Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Define, craft and own end-to-end solution architecture of the product suite from definition phase to roll-out.
● Define Logical, Technical & Physical views of Architecture.
● Define reusable components/ frameworks, common schemas, and standards to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team.
● Ensure clarity on NFRs and address these requirements during the solution definition phase.
● Execute performance engineering and capacity planning exercises.
● Identifying critical technical risks and mitigation plans
● Review effort estimation and implementation planning.
● Train, Mentor & guide Tech Leads & Software Engineers.
● Handle interviews to attract external talent for the technical architect/tech lead role.
● Nurture & groom in-house budding technical leadership.
Architectural Experience:
● Experience in defining & realizing E2E product architecture.
● Must have 7+ years of experience as an architect for a medium to a large-scale product.
● Proficient in dealing with all the layers in solution: Multi-channel presentation, business logic in middleware, data access layer, RDBMS | NO-SQL.
● Experience in microservices architecture implementation.
● Experience in SOA definition and realization is preferable.
● Strong understanding of architecture patterns such as multi-tenancy, scalability, and federation to build cloud-ready systems.
● Experience in architecture consulting engagements.
● Understand big data platform concepts and NoSQL technologies and the ability to map such tools to context.
Technology and Engineering Experience:
● Must have 15+ years of hands-on experience in Java technologies.
● Work experience in public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
● Must have experience using Enterprise Library, ORM frameworks, rules engines, and workflow engines.
● Expertise in Java Spring and Spring Boot with JPA and Hibernate
● Work experience in Spring Cloud, Redis Cache
● Experience in design and programming patterns
● Understanding of SOLID, KISS, DRY and YAGNI principles
● Must have strong experience in at least one RDBMS (SQL Server | Oracle | MySQL)
● Proficient in front-end technologies (AngularJS | Flutter | ReactJS)
● Hands-on experience in using configuration management and CI tools is required
● Knowledge of unit testing, load testing, and profiling tools is required
● Experience needed with Agile development methodology
● Expertise in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprints and Design specifications is required
● Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing infrastructure
● Knowledge of SaaS and PaaS platforms

Qualification:
A Bachelors / Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering
Certifications
● Certification in TOGAF/ Open group certified Architect/ IASA CITA-P/ SOA school-certified SOA Architect is desirable.
