Job Description
Broad technology knowledge and the ability to architect a solution by mapping requirements to data model.
• Design, develop and implement Web based solution using Java, React , Python framework
• Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access (including tables, forms, report design, SQL scripting and VBA programming).
• Ability to write code (SQL, VBA, Python, PERL)
• Act as a liaison between team requirements, wider CLD ORG / management, IT/Systems groups, and outside technology vendors.
• Manage internal databases and perform regular maintenance as needed.
• Solve database issues as needed.
• Develop systemic technology solutions to help automate departmental processes.
• Significant experience particularly in desktop data analysis tools including Excel, Tableau, Power BI
• Experience with ETL & Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence platforms such as Business Objects or Power BI
• Good interpersonal skills. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills. Must be able to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
OR
• Primary: Core Java (Version >=1.7 ), Spring ecosystem (Core, MVC, data, JPA, transaction management, security, AOP, Spring Batch & SpringBoot), Knowledge of some of UI languages/frameworks (HTML5, Angular, React, Vue.js)
• Secondary: Strong knowledge on JDBC and DB concepts, ORM (hibernate), PL/SQL procedures, SOA/Microservices (REST, Soap), APP server (Tomcat, Weblogic)
• Hands on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)(JUnit), Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) approach.
• Prior experience working with CI/CD tools (Maven, Git, jenkins)
• Experience of working closely with business analyst in an agile or DEVOPS framework
• Demonstrated excellent programming/scripting skills.
• Strong knowledge of CI practices and agile frameworks.
• Excellent team player with high learning agility.
