Our company is seeking a talented Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining our security systems, as well as identifying and addressing potential security threats. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure our organization is protected from cyber attacks and other security risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network security, encryption protocols and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security measures to protect our computer systems and networks
• Conduct vulnerability testing and risk assessments
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure security best practices are followed
• Monitor systems for security breaches or intrusions and investigate any incidents
• Install security software and firewalls to protect company systems
• Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
• Previous experience working as a Security Engineer or in a related field
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and network administration
• Experience with cloud security and network security technologies
• Familiarity with security tools and software such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
• Ability to identify and mitigate security risks
• Certifications in cybersecurity or related field is a plus.
