Field Engineer-UAV Operations

Job Description

• Conduct field trials, demonstrations, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) for UAV systems and associated equipment.
• Ensure system readiness, including hardware, software, accessories, and all required documentation prior to field deployment.
• Execute testing activities in coordination with Customer Field Teams (CFT) for non-standard trials and special operational requirements.
• Conduct user training programs on system operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Deliver online End User Equipment Certification (EUEC) and refresher training sessions as required.
• Analyze and close Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tickets related to operator errors, ensuring proper corrective actions and user guidance.
• Coordinate with R&D and Quality Assurance (QA) teams for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Capture and submit product feedback, observations, and improvement recommendations arising from field activities.
• Maintain and submit field reports, test records, flight logs, training records, and other relevant documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all field operations.
• Support customers during deployment, testing, and operational phases to ensure successful system utilization.
• Travel to customer locations as required for trials, training, ATPs, and technical support activities.
