Job Description

Seeking a dynamic and motivated Engineer to join our team as part of our remotely piloted aircraft system software development efforts.

This role involves designing and developing robust applications and optimizing solutions for real-world UAV missions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing and maintenance of applications for UAV operations and communication.
• Collaborate with team to integrate innovative solutions in our software architecture.
• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and procedures to validate the performance and reliability of our software solution.
• Conduct data analysis and generate reports to document test results, identify issues and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure seamless integration of developed solution.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in UAV technology, ground control systems, and aerospace industry standards through self-study and training programs.
• Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations in all work activities, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.
• Support documentation efforts.

Skills

• Proficiency in C# (Windows) and C++ (Linux).
• Experience in socket programming, multithreading, asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and safety-critical systems applications.
• Understanding of communication protocols (TCP, UDP, Serial, , etc.) and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with path planning and optimization algorithms is preferred.
• Good foundation in Mathematics, linear algebra, and computational geometry.
• Knowledge of real-time systems and safety-critical software development.
• Understanding of V&V approaches and software quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
• Familiarity with process management and its tools (JIRA, Scrum, etc.).
