Senior Executive (Technical Writer)

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit User Handbooks, Technical Manuals, operational procedures, and other technical aggregates.
• Create Videos, Computer-Based Training (CBT) Modules, and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).
• Prepare and maintain Technical Specifications at UAV and Systems levels, as well as product requirement documents in sync with market demands.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation, ensuring regular updates and revisions.
• Engage with customers and approving agencies for the review and approval of documentation.
• Quality: Develop and implement robust quality control processes.
• Documentation: Maintain a detailed project plan, checklists, complete processes, and configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Product Marketing, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality Management, Software Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Project Managers to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Stay Informed: Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in drone systems to ensure compliance and maintain competitiveness.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical).
• Knowledge of XML and DITA implementation.
• Proficiency in drone hardware and software, including flight controllers, sensors, and autopilot systems.
• Strong command of both English and Hindi.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with tools: Arbortext Editor, ISODraw, MS Word, Articulate 360, Adobe Premier Pro.
• Familiarity with standards: JSS 0251, JSG, ATA 100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and Simplified Technical English.
