Manufacturing Trainer

Job Description

The Manufacturing Assembly Plant Trainer is responsible for training assembly line workers on assembly techniques, safety procedures, discipline and quality standards. The role ensures that all employees are skilled in their tasks and that production runs efficiently and safely.

 Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

• Conduct hands-on training sessions for new and existing assembly line workers.
• Teach workers how to assemble products according to work Instruction and procedures.
• Explaining the records maintained during the assembly line like Job card, MDR, SOP etc.
• Provide training on safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Training Materials
• Develop and update training materials, including manuals, work instructions, and videos.
• Customize training content to address specific needs or changes in the assembly process.
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Assess the skills and progress of employees during and after training. Maintaining & updating the skill matrix, Provide feedback and additional coaching to improve performance.
• Maintain records of training activities, training cards and employee certifications.

Process Improvement

• Work with the operations team to identify areas for improvement in the assembly process.
• Integrate process improvements into training programs.

Experience 

2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.

Skills

• Strong understanding of assembly processes and tools.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.
• Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles.
• Strong command over language Marathi, Hindi, English.

Certifications

• Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or related areas are an advantage.

 Working Conditions

• The role involves working on the assembly floor, which may require standing for extended periods and working in noisy environments.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional weekends, may be required.
