Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer specialising in Verification and Validation (V&V) of mechanical systems to join our dynamic team. This role involves ensuring the reliability, functionality, and safety of mechanical components and systems in our drone technology, contributing to the innovation and success of our mobility solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive V&V plans for mechanical systems in drones, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

- Conduct verification activities, including testing, analysis, and evaluation of mechanical components and subsystems to validate their performance and reliability.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, system engineers, and quality assurance personnel, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems

- Design and implement test protocols, procedures, and methodologies to assess mechanical system performance, structural integrity, and durability.

- Analyze test results, identify discrepancies or areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for design enhancements or modifications.

- Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, reports, and findings, ensuring traceability and compliance with internal and external standards.

- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in mechanical engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement in drone systems.

- Meticulous attention to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all testing procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Automobile Engineering or related field.

- 09-15 years of hands-on experience in Verification and Validation of mechanical systems, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or robotics industries.

- Experience in system Integration and Real time testing

- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in Design, operation and safety of UAS (ASTM F38 etc)

- Knowledge of mechanical testing standards like JSS/JSG, MIL STD, ASTM etc. 

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information and findings to diverse stakeholders.
