Job Description
- Design and development: Create prototypes of different autonomous systems, components, testing setups, and develop control algorithms for quadcopters/fixed wing aerial autonomous systems and their payloads.
- Testing and validation: Test and validate different autonomous systems in real-world and simulated scenarios.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, such as Electro-Mechanical failures or unexpected hardware/algorithm problems.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of System Integration processes, configurations, Design and System Engineering Reviews, Validation plan vs actual, and test results to facilitate troubleshooting and future development.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Research: Research the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of robotic mechanisms, components, and systems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and software developers.
- Technical support: Provide technical support for different systems, which are under development or fully developed.
- Data analysis: Analyze data from sensors, instruments, and payloads collected during tests and create solutions based on that.
- Project reporting: Report on risks, issues, and project progress.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
>Bachelor''s degree + 5 years experience/ Master’s degree + 3 years experience/ Ph.D. in Aerospace engineering, Mechanical, Electrical engineering, or a related field.
>Proficiency in writing control algorithms in C/C++.
>Experience with microcontrollers is preferred.
>Strong foundation in core engineering principles (Electro-Mechanical), kinematics and dynamics.
>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
