Job Description

  1. Prototype Development: Take the lead in designing, assembling, and testing electrical prototypes for various drone components and systems, including batteries, power distribution systems, motor controllers, sensor interfaces, and telemetry systems.
  2. Electrical Assembly: Proficiency in assembling electrical components onto PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) and other substrates using soldering techniques, ensuring proper connections and adherence to industry standards.
  3. Soldering: Expertise in soldering surface-mount (SMD) and through-hole components onto PCBs with precision and attention to detail, following best practices to minimize the risk of defects and ensure reliability.
  4. Circuit Testing and Troubleshooting: Ability to conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits using various measurement tools and equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and logic analyzers, to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  5. Electrical Wiring and Harnessing: Proficiency in wiring and harnessing techniques to integrate electrical components and subsystems into larger assemblies or systems, ensuring proper routing, insulation, and termination for optimal performance and reliability.
  6. Prototype Design: Understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams, and design specifications to interpret and implement prototype designs accurately, following engineering guidelines and industry standards.
  7. Documentation: Ability to maintain detailed documentation of electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and results, ensuring accurate records are kept throughout the prototyping process for reference and replication.
  8. Safety Compliance: Awareness of safety protocols and best practices when working with electrical components and equipment, prioritizing personal safety and adhering to relevant regulations and standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Quality Assurance: Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in electrical prototypes, adhering to industry best practices and quality assurance processes to ensure consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
  10. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members, conveying technical information, providing updates on prototype development progress, and addressing any challenges or concerns as they arise.
