Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive V&V plans for mechanical & electromechanical systems in drones, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct verification activities, including testing, analysis, and evaluation of mechanical / electrical components and subsystems to validate their performance and reliability.
- Develop & validate new test set ups and test procedures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of test procedures/ equipment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, system engineers, and quality assurance personnel, to ensure seamless integration of engineered systems
- Design and implement test protocols, procedures, and methodologies to assess mechanical & electromechanical system performance, structural integrity, and durability.
- Analyze test results, identify discrepancies or areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for design enhancements or modifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, reports, and findings, ensuring traceability and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in mechanical engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement in drone systems.
- Meticulous attention to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all testing procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 06-12 years of hands-on experience in Verification and Validation of mechanical systems, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or robotics industries.
- Experience in system Integration and Real time testing
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in Design, operation and safety of UAS
- DFMEA, instrumentation, data analysis and test reporting
- Knowledge of mechanical testing standards like JSS/JSG, MIL STD, ASTM etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information and findings to diverse stakeholders.
