Job Summary



We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our financial services team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining financial data into our systems. This is an entry-level position that offers the flexibility of remote work.



Skills



Excellent typing speed and accuracy



Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)



Familiarity with data entry software or systems



Strong attention to detail



Ability to work independently and meet deadlines



Good communication skills



Responsibilities



Input and update financial data into the company's database accurately and efficiently.



Verify accuracy of entered data by comparing it with source documents.



Review incomplete documents for missing information or errors before entering them into the system.



Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling large volumes of data.



Assist in creating reports from the entered data as required by management.



Provide administrative support as needed.



Qualifications



Experience in a similar role or internship in finance or related field preferred but not required.



High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; associate degree preferred.



Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.



Demonstrated proficiency in using computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing software, etc.
