We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of our databases. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, optimize queries, and troubleshoot database issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture, SQL query optimization, and backup and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks including backups, monitoring, and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions
  • Optimize SQL queries for performance
  • Ensure database security and data integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new database solutions
  • Develop and maintain database documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture and concepts
  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational database management systems
  • Experience with backup and recovery strategies
  • Familiarity with database security concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
