Description

As our Servo Control Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of software control systems for our servo motors. In this role, you will collaborate with our hardware and software teams to develop industry-leading products. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop real-time control systems for servo motors using C/C++ programming language
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product requirements and specifications
  • Write software that communicates with servo motor drivers and motion controllers
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including design, implementation, and testing documentation
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams
  • Develop and maintain software testing procedures and scripts
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of software control systems for servo motors
  • Expertise in C/C++ programming language
  • Successful track record of shipping products to market
  • Strong knowledge of control systems and real-time operating systems
  • Experience with embedded systems programming and development tools
  • Familiarity with motor control theory and signal processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
