PhP developer

Job Description

Job Role:

As a PHP developer, you will be responsible for both backend and frontend development on PHP frameworks like Laravel, Codeigniter & CMS like Wordpress/Magento, etc with the added knowledge of theming and plugins/extensions creation/optimization.

Job Responsibility and Duties:

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality

• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS/projects

• Creating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme, and optimizing plugins.

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end/back-end code.

• Help maintain code quality by doing peer code reviews.

• Build API's and plugins which will communicate with backend services

• Should be able to execute assigned tasks in a timely & efficient manner.

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to implement Technical Requirements.

• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications, designing and developing responsive design websites.

• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.

• Able to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

• Strong knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}} and PHP back-end development.

• Strong attention to detail and deliver work of a high standard.

• Strong Team Player with a positive attitude and hunger to learn and achieve more.
