About you

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our veterinary nursing team:  

  • Previous experience of veterinary nursing is preferred, however, we are open to applications from individuals who are keen to embark on a career in the veterinary industry. Candidates with less experience and relevant qualifications will be considered as Veterinary Assistant.
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Experience of handling animals (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a team, and under pressure
  • An outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
  • Genuine interest in the welfare of animals

Founded in 1921, The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (HK) is one of Asia’s leading animal welfare organisations. Our veterinary facilities include a 24-hour hospital, in-house diagnostic laboratory, digital and dental radiography, ultrasonography, ECG, endoscopy and modern surgical suites. A new state-of-the-art animal welfare, veterinary and education centre is due to open during the second half of 2023 located in Tsing Yi, this will expand our capacity to serve even more animals in need.
