Job Description

As part of our creative content team, your primary responsibility will include substantive editing and fact-checking articles and optimizing them to increase user engagement. You will also be handling a team of writers and editors and will be assisting in their training and development.

Note that you will not be simply proofreading — this role involves substantive editing. Do not apply if you’re not comfortable with substantive edits.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
• Proofread, re-structure, and edit articles by content writers
• Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication
• Coordinate with writers for edits and meet client deadlines

Requirements:

• 7+ years of proven work experience as a Content Writer and Editor
• Portfolio of published work
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Attention to detail
