Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Business Analyst. As a Part-Time Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and facilitating effective decision-making through data-driven insights. This is a part-time position requiring a commitment of approximately 5 -10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Generate reports and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Solution Design: Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and design effective solutions.
• Change Management: Support change management efforts by identifying potential impacts and developing strategies for successful adoption of new processes or technologies.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate system functionality, ensuring quality and adherence to requirements.
• Documentation and Training: Prepare detailed documentation, user guides, and training materials to support the implementation and use of new systems and processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a related industry or domain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with process modeling and workflow analysis.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
