We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Healthcare Call Center Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance providers. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries and will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all callers.

As a Healthcare Call Center Associate, you will handle a wide range of calls, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, billing inquiries, and general information requests. You will utilize our internal systems and databases to accurately document and update patient records. Additionally, you will proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist callers with appointment scheduling and rescheduling
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about healthcare services and facilities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
  • Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
  • Continuously develop knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures to provide accurate and relevant information to callers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in a customer service or call center environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology and medical insurance processes is a plus
