Job Description

Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Work Experience:At least 4+ years of experience as an ETL developer.

Technical Skills:

Data Storage:

Determine data storage requirements based on design layouts and optimization techniques, with a preference for experience with Azure blob/containers.

Azure Technologies:

Strong knowledge of Azure technologies, including Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF) services, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) gen1/2 for ETL processing.

Cloud Optimization:

Good knowledge of handling cloud optimizations to improve system performance.

Job Scheduling:

Strong knowledge of job scheduling tools, specifically using Databricks and Airflow.

Code Management:

Good knowledge of code management using Azure DevOps/GIT tools.

IDE Proficiency:

Good knowledge of using VSCode/Studio IDE or relevant tools for code management processes (check-in/check-outs/branching techniques).

Programming Languages:

Extensive knowledge of coding languages, including Java, Javascript, XML, SQL, Python, stored procedures, and JSON.

Responsibilities:

Data Solutions:

Create and improve data solutions for smooth data delivery, including gathering, processing, maintaining, and analyzing large amounts of data.

Data Modeling:

Lead logical data model design and implementation, as well as the construction and implementation of operational data stores and data modeling.

ETL Automation:

Design, automate, and support sophisticated data extraction, transformation, and loading applications in Azure.

Functional Requirements:

Translate data access, transformation, and mobility needs into functional requirements and mapping designs.

Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during testing.

Maintenance Support:

Provide maintenance support during the project warranty period.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems, especially during the Go-live period.

Team Collaboration:

Strong team collaboration skills.

Communication:

Clear communication skills.
