Salesforce DevOps Practice Head

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as the Salesforce DevOps Practice Head. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the Salesforce DevOps practice, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the successful implementation o  f DevOps best practices within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Salesforce DevOps strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and maintain DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation frameworks for Salesforce applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps processes and tools to improve development velocity, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to DevOps engineers, Salesforce administrators, and developers.
• Drive the adoption of best practices, standards, and tools across the organization to support Salesforce development and deployment.
• Partner with senior leadership to align the Salesforce DevOps strategy with business goals and objectives.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Salesforce DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the Salesforce DevOps practice and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, DevOps, or related field, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, and customization.
• Expertise in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and knowledge of branching strategies.
• Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Deployment Lifecycle & Deployment Architect certification) are a plus.
