Senior DBA

Job Description

Perform SQL / Oracle Server Installation, Configuration, Management, RMAN Support, Monitoring and CPU patching. Job Requirements:

 • 5-6 years of IT experience as Oracle Database Administrator in Design, Development, Implementation and support in Production, Development and Test environments.

• Need to have 3 years of experience in Oracle Database versions, 12c and above as installation, patching and upgrade of the software.

 • Extensive experience in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and expertise OLTP design/process, backup and recovery.

 • Experience managing the database on Linux/ Unix and Windows environment.

• Experience or good understanding in Oracle GoldenGate

• Good understanding in Oracle database migration from on-prem to cloud

• Responsibilities include working with Development team understanding their requirement and providing database support services. i.e., Database objects creation, migration, data setup, environment refreshes, etc.

• Very good experience in application/development DBA support and working with a large group of application architects and developers.

• Thorough knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL Development/Support and writing/debugging SQL & PL/SQL code.

• Strong in SQL, query performance optimization and tuning.

• Knowledge of PL/SQL, stored procedure, packages, function and database trigger

• Database objects creation, DB object migration and data conversion

• Very good experience in implementing Table Partitioning, Optimizer Hints.

• Required Skills: DB Oracle, Oracle PL/SQL, AWS Relational Database Service (RDS), Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Amazon Web Services (AWS)
