Our company is seeking a knowledgeable and helpful Information Technology (IT) Service Desk Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to all internal staff. The IT Service Desk Specialist will act as the first point of contact for all technology-related troubles and requests, providing timely and courteous assistance throughout the company.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all technology-related issues, providing timely resolution or escalation to the appropriate team members if necessary.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, as well as peripherals such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, and provide general network troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Facilitate the set-up and deployment of new hardware and software for employees.
  • Maintain knowledge of current technology trends and developments in the market, and act as a resource for staff members seeking assistance.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to assist with projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Provide basic training and support to staff members on various software applications and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
