Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for helping to maintain our commercial policy administration system – Duck Creek
• Provide support for the design and implementation of the policy administration system enhancements, and lead platform upgrades and other technical initiatives.
• Drive resolution and creative solutions to reported system problems and program bugs
• Analyze current system environments and infrastructure to develop implementation plans and verification procedures
• Assist in the defining of standardized and best practices that appropriately align with business objectives and department workflow
• Complete system testing to confirm business requirements, reliability and efficiency is met
• Be a successful liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure productive partnerships and productivity
• Perform complex troubleshooting and communicate potential solutions
• Prepare and deliver formal presentations on projects and status for business and technology leadership.
• Manage and deliver development projects within the allocated budget
• Keep on top of Duck Creek Technology Product Roadmap and the industry trends including Digital Transformation, InsureTech, AI/Machine Learning etc

Primary Skills

• Strong facilitation experience for conducting requirements gathering and stakeholder agreement meetings
• Familiar with Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, prototyping, Conference Room Pilot (CRP), and similar approaches and principles
• Familiar with business process design concepts and principles.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Duck Creek Policy or Billing Certification

Experience

• Strong understanding of the P&C industry and solutions with 7-10 years of experience in defining architecture and design on Duck Creek suite – both SaaS and on-premise
• Must have technical knowledge of the overall Duck Creek suite including Policy, Billing, Insights and distribution management to lead the integration
• Must have a detailed understanding of Duck Creek Architecture, Data Models, UI design, processes and events.
• Knowledge of Duck Creek products including architecture, data model, components, modules and extensions.
• Experience in configuring Duck Creek products for Commercial Auto lines is preferable.
• Experience in integrating Duck Creek products with in-house systems and third-party systems.
• Experience in configuring Duck Creek in SaaS mode is mandatory
• Experience upgrading Duck Creek preferably 7.x - 8.x Upgrade
