Serve as a System Engineer and technical escalation resource for the Microsoft O365 platform
Provide design decisions and generate system design concept descriptions, and capability assessments
Deploy, document, manage, and support technologies including but not limited to: Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory, synchronization, and federation services
Oversee effort to implement the infrastructure by analyzing the current system environment and infrastructure, using technical tools and utilities to perform complex product customization
Manage related end user capabilities and coloration systems including O365 user accounts, shared mailboxes, distribution groups and Citrix VDI
Take a proactive approach to monitoring platforms and services, identifying and predicting problems prior to them developing into emergencies and reporting recommendations to management
Create and execute verification and validation plans, procedures, and maintain automation scripts utilizing PowerShell and/or other software development languages
Apply broad product knowledge to improve, build reliability, security, benefit delivery and scalability into the O365 architecture
Translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical solutions
Ability to operate from task and project management tools such as JIRA & ServiceNow
Implement new products and technologies laid out by senior Infrastructure engineers
Assist peer technicians in troubleshooting and end-to-end root cause analysis for prompt mitigation of issue
Engage in on-call rotation

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years working with desktop and IT systems engineering
5+ years working with M365 & Azure administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with service automation and collaboration services
Self-starter with ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
Strong time management skills and manages well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and assignments
Experience leading small to medium sized projects
Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor
Expert customer service skills, including the ability to listen, interpret and explain computer-related concepts in non-technical terms
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others to calmly handle critical situations with confidence and minimal direction
Strong knowledge of current operating systems and software products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Cloud certifications: Azure, Office 365, CompTIA Cloud+, etc.
Advanced PowerShell scripting & tool making experience
Experience supporting Microsoft SharePoint Server, troubleshooting various systems and virtual hosting solutions.
Solid networking skills
Demonstrated consulting, presentation, training, and project management skills
