Junior Business Analyst (Remote)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data and financial information, and identifying trends and opportunities for growth. 

Location:

• Ottawa, ON - Redvers, SK - Montreal, QC 

Key Accountabilities:

• Performing data analysis on project-related data, such as financial data, performance metrics, and customer feedback.
• Supporting the collection, organisation, and verification of project data from various sources.
•  Developing and maintaining project dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to present data findings effectively.
• Participating in the identification of key trends, patterns, and performance indicators to evaluate project success.
• Assisting in the preparation of project reports, including progress reports, risk analysis, and recommendations.
•  Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
•  Conducting process improvement initiatives by mapping as-is processes and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness (to-be).
• Preparing and presenting project presentations to stakeholders, conveying data-driven insights and recommendations.

Who we’re looking for.

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

Qualifications & Other Skills:

• Previous analyst experience in Product Lifecycle Management, Process Development, or Financials in the ICT/Telecommunication space is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and the ability to think outside the box with changing business requirements.
• A self-motivated individual who is proactive and results-driven.
• Keen ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Experienced ability to elicit user stories/business requirements.
• Willingness to learn and explore.
• Ability to work in a team or individual environment while maintaining planned deadlines. Project experience in agile is a bonus. 
• Excellent Business reporting and presentation skills.
• Experience in Visio and Excel.
