Job Description

Senior Data Analyst - Responsible for data management in multiple corporate master data management applications and departmental databases, systems, and Excel Files, including:


  • Education Solutions FileMaker databases
  • EPIC
  • STEP
  • Monarch
  • Supply Chain Reporting Tools
  • Check Availability
  • EPIC Report
  • ECAT New ISBNs
  • ISBNs with Components
  • PO History
  • Yearly Future Demand
  • Data Management Project Owner and Subject Matter Expert
  • Serve as a data project owner on assigned projects, and work with cross-departmental teams on the development of educational products including unique product setups and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, and work with others inside and outside the team to find solutions to issues, ways to improve business processes
  • Provide data support including but not limited to data setup, cleanup, analysis, research, and reporting related to products, rights, and contracts
  • Provide data setup and cleanup ensuring corporate and divisional standards are met
  • Respond to divisional and corporate data- and product-related inquiries in a timely manner
  • Perform various data analytics including expert-level Excel file analyses on complex data sets
  • Provide Excel technical support and data support across departments
  • Conduct diverse research as assigned, and report issues related to products, rights, and contracts to related departments
  • Provide feedback on corporate master data management applications to help improve systems and processes, and report technical issues to Master Data Management team
  • Time Allocations
  • Update monthly timesheet templates
  • Create monthly staff and Adecco roll-up allocation report from individual files
  • Tradebook Acquisitions and Renewals
  • Create and submit Acquisition Proposals (APs) to Contracts Department
  • Create Monarch Proposal reports and route to relevant parties to collect Demand
  • Create renewal and termination reports for use analyses
  • Update Corporate Renewals Grid
  • Work on ad hoc projects as needed


Qualifications


  • 1-2 years’ experience with data management and tracking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude
  • Self-starter
  • High energy
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
  • Expert MS Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • FileMaker Pro, MS Access, and/or other database skills strongly preferred
